Dedicated Ventrilo Server

Ok with all of the recent bitching I have decided to setup a Vent server for us to test out and see if we prefer it to TS.

Connection Info

68.49.241.99

port: 3784

No special login/registration is required to use this server. I encourage everyone to give it a shot and see if they like it. I personally don't care for the interface one bit but it doesn't crash my computer like TS does

The TS interface blows away Vent... Vent looks like it was made by 2 year olds in paint with a horrible ease of use interface.

But, if it doesn't crash my comp i'm all for it.

Vent's simple and gets the job done .

With Frags server I get a ping of 205 and with |3ourne's I get a ping of 95. Nicks is the same ping as |3ourne's.

I prefer ventrillo - its easier to setup from my end

I much prefer ventrilo as it sounds alot clearer than teamspeak when setup to the right codec and another thing I like is that it tells you the name of the person who joins instead of saying "new player" like it does in teamspeak.

Anyway I cant get on either of the ventrilo servers you posted on this topic
