Vanilla Cherries - Still WIP

Overview: Since I really wanted to have a useful backup rig that I could use at lan parties, I decided to start building a new comp. I knew it was going to be based around an i5 25k and two 6950s, but I didn't really know what else I'd include. Colour wise I was very distraught, as I wanted to make this look pretty enough to take pictures of as well as for it to perform well. After months of deciding, and by "months" I mean two, I finally decided what I was going to do with it. At first I thought I should make a cool form factor rig, but I chose not to do that, as the video cards and mods I was going to do to them required that I have an E-ATX motherboard. So, although it's not very small, and although that defeats the idea of a LAN rig, I'm still calling it one because it will be what I use it for. I will also, in the near future, be putting it under water, with mostly XSPC and EK parts.

System Name: It was going to be White Phoenix, but when I asked a clanmate he said something involving cherries, so I came up with Vanilla Cherries.

Trully amazing rig, i love the contrast of white and red with subtle black in there, i wonder if the orange/pale red led on the left corner was intentional?

Dude, if that's your back-up rig then what's your main one like?! Good work but like others have said, am interested in seeing more overall pics

I'd check the inside of your tubing in a few weeks time if I were you. My primochill primoflex lrt black and clear are caked on the inside with plastecisor (sp?) and I need to re-do my loop with new tubing, gonna try masterkleer I think.

Not to keen on the LED lighting but it's a nice tidy loop and the red and white goes well together.

Hey guys. So I kinda left this to its own devices after I posted it here, I'm sorry for not following up. This ended up being so much more than I bargained for, it blew up into my first real build, and a real art project. I can't believe how well it turned out, and I will treasure the experience forever. I won't bore you with all the stuff in between, but I did finish it. It was a real pleasure doing this rig, I finished it late last year after many months of trial and error and many mess ups. As you can see, there are some things that are wrong with it, but it was really just an art project. I have a current rig right now called Big Green, I might post that on here, but I don't know, I mostly just post things to Overclock.net. Thanks for the kind words, though!

I'm sure there were, but I was far too lazy.

On the tube going from pump to rad I just added them for pattern consistency.
