UV Lighting on tubing

I have been trying to find out some info on UV lighting for my rig (Coming soon) I haven't ever done UV lighting before so its new to me!! my plan is to have a clear tubing (UV blue). I'm hoping to use white lights my question is would this light make my tubing glow blue?

White light wont work no dude. But UV is so 2005.....

I was hoping to get my liquid to change the colour in some spots. blood red and clear uv blue tube would make a dark purple in spots where the uv light would be witch i thought would be neat but i guess i will not do it since I can't find anything shorter then 6 inch thanks for the info on that TOM!!

You can buy Phobya UV Strips and cut it to the lengthyou need, then glue the endplug on it.

This is possible with the colored, the UV and with the RGB Strips.

The RGB strips doesn't give you a real UV light.

The blue Corsair braided cables look so lovely with UV.

Thank you for your input PetetheSweet you nailed it right on the head. im looking at the Phobya strip and do you know for sure if I cut it they will still work? they are LED right [color=6616]Frozencpu Link[/color]

There is an indicator on the inner strip itself, where you see where to cut.
It's between every 3rd LED.

The Phobya RGB's when cut can get reconnected by soldering e.g. a braided cable between then use black and/or transparent shrink tubing.
