Widescreen res options:
Run the game once, and open the ut2004.ini file in a text editor, and find the following lines:
FullscreenViewportX=
FullscreenViewportY=
Set these to your desired resolution. On a Dell 2005FPW, this would be 1680 and 1050.
Now open the file user.ini in a text editor, and find the following lines:
DesiredFOV=
DefaultFOV=
Set these to 100 (default is 90 with a 4:3 resolution)
This solution should work on most games based on the Unreal Tournament engines. The file names may be different, but the strings should always be the same.
