USB Plug/Unplug = BSOD

I recently formatted my computer, and since installing, I've noticed that when I try to plug/unplug a USB device, I get an immediate BSOD and the computer restarts.

Any idea why it's just started doing it?

It's never done it prior to the reformat. How do I turn off auto restart so i can note the error message? Where can I get the error dump or whatever it is from?

Please help!:(

To turn off auto restart do the following.

Control Panel > System > Advanced > Start up and Recovery

Heres a piccar just to help! ;)

Fantastic! Thanks! +Reps!

I've sorted the problem now, and I believe it was the installation of dodgy drivers for the matrix orbital. Any interaction with it or USB, and it would BSOD, including detecting hardware changes in add/remove hardware.

Unfortunately I couldn't get rid of the drivers without BSOD, and eventually had to reformat again, although I probably could have got away with a system restore. Nevermind eh:rolleyes:

Anyway, great job! Thanks!
