USB for Mach II ST?

Hi,

i'm trying to find out if it is possible to buy the usb controller that is in the GT(?) version for the ST version?

What you need to do is purchase a new controller board and replace the one on your ST - its a fairly straight forward job. You can also but an LCD as well.

Controllers are £80 and LCD's are £40, then you've got shipping.

does extremeprometeia sell the controllers? if so where on there site do i need to look... but if they dont where else in the uk are they for sale?

Cool. I havent got spare money at the moment to purchase one - i was just trying to get hold of somewhere where i could at a later date, sometime within the next few months. is that ok with you?

If I can just tag onto this thread Phil, I've attached the USB wires to my mobo and windows recognises the ST and lets me install the driver etc. However, the control panel thing does not show me the fan speeds or temps etc?

I assumed it would either work or not work but it seems to just 'half' work, lol. Any advice or is a new controller essential?
