Upgrading PC, not sure which to get

I'll start off by saying I have 3 eyefinity 24" monitors for extreme gaming and a 4th monitor that sits above the 3 for playing a movie while i game.

Here are my computer specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1100T

MOBO: CrossHair IV Formula

Memory: 2 x Kingston DDR3 4GB Dual Channels

Video Cards: 2 x Radeon HD 6970 CrossFireX

So I have a hard decision to make right now and can't think what would be a better upgrade. I either switch from from the typical Hard Drive to an SSD preferably:

Patriot PPSE120GS25SSDR Pyro SE Solid State Drive - 120GB, SATA III (6Gb/s), 2.5", up to 550MB/s Read, up to 520MB/s Write2 x

Along with 2 x more 4 GB of RAM so I will be at a max of 16 GB

Complete water cooled system. I will need to buy 2 of the VGA cooler blocks which are about $120 each on there own so in total for everything it's gong to be around $400-$500 for the water cooling system

Now for just the RAM and SSD it's going to be about $300-$350. Which would seem like a better upgrade to you? The Water Cooling will make it so I can overclock my AMD Phenom II x6 1100T from 3.2 GHz to 4.2 GHz and my graphics card too.

With the SSD and RAM graphics and load times will read A LOT faster

I think you will see a much bigger difference with the SSD. Depending on what you do on your PC you may not see any difference with the extra RAM. What cooler do you have on the 1100T now? An H100 or NH-D14 should let you clock in the 4GHz range.

Uh not sure it's just the stock fan that came with the CPU :/

Will the H100 fit on an Asus Crosshair IV Formula?

a better cooler will get you the same oc as a complete wc rig. I'd get a decent cooler and an ssd forget the ram mate unless you need it then I'd look at 2x8GB sticks not 4x 4GB as oc'n on 4 sticks is harder than with 2 sticks. specially with AMD as they still allow FSB tweaking. (look at my validations in my sig the AMD one was with a D-14)

so nuttshell ssd and better cooler for your proc will have better results for you vs spending what you guess to be 400-500 which will turn to 500-600 or more for a complete wc loop. I spent 575$ recently for just rads, blocks fans.fittings and tubing I already had pump and rez which was another 200$ it adds up fast mate lol. I'd say the current value of my wc loop is close to if not over 1K

you may wanna look into the RAMDisk programs if increasing memory on the motherboard. generally you'll use 1-3GB an the rest is used as buffer.

configurations with a SSD, fast timing RAM and RAMdisk saw upwards of 4GB (gigabite) transfers rather than 200MB (megabite) using 1600Mhz RAM.

acessed from the ROG site is a detailed info review and video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cqfhZvyE80&feature=colike

kinda 'splains what and why..
