Upgrading from Vista To XP

I've had no problems with Vista, and I've used it since release.

In fact, I've just started using Vista 64 and not had a problem with that yet either

I use Vista 64 on my Games Machine. I think I will go back to XP Pro though soon, so I can play games more smoothly, and not worrying about everything being capable with Vista and/or 64 bit.

We all do different things and have different demands and tasks, probably standards too to an extent.

I don`t like not having an "UP" arrow on my explorer, but Directory Opus is about to solve that.

I`ve disabled the annoyances.

I don`t like using the "move file" command and having it either move 1 file in the list at a time @ below 7mbs, leaving the rest behind. Or asking me if I want to copy into a folder and leave the "move" requested files behind.

It does seem to get a better experience the more u remove and replace. Think this next week might be trouble free, bsides trying to sort out a non hogging security package.

640 out of 2048 meg used after booting has settled down. Gotta look into that somewhat too. Run a few things and I`m 50/50 memory.

I never understand why people worry about how much RAM is being used in the OS. As soon as you start gaming Vista dynamically assigns the RAM to whatever the game needs *sigh*

I have high standards and tbh Vista has some niggles, but I'm yet to find an oS that doesn't

Yeah, I won`t play games on the web accessing Vista. The gaming one boots to about 18% of 3.xxG which I`m pretty happy with atm.
