Upgrading advice (Titans)

Hey everyone, after thinking about it and dealing with 1 580 hitting 99C and the other close behind I have bought 2 Titans. they are bloody awesome and whisper quiet too. :) I am now looking at getting the Asus PB278Q 27" 2560x1440 res monitor to go with them. The TTL review for it does make it look great just hope it doesn't have a horrible delay.

Nice dude. I would grab a 30" monitor at 2560 x 1600 instead.

Gratz on your new purchase. Any photos of your rig?

EDIT: Nvm. Phone didn't display your attachments at first!

If i were u, i would have waited and got 2x 780's AND a new VDU. But still, 2 titans is much more worth while over buying a single titan. Its much more difficult to beat 2 titans performance than it is 1.

A single titan can be beat with much less money using 2 cards.
2 Titans however requir 3 or 4 way SLI which is its own can of worms. And imo the extra price for 2 Titans over 3 or 4 other cards pays for not having to deal with the aggro of 3 and 4 way SLI.

Right now though, im more looking forward to the 780's. If Nvidia's performance marks are anything to go by (and lets face it ,they will be best case scinero's) the 780 will be 25% to 50% faster than a AMD 7970ghz edition.
The 780 is expected to be roughly £500-£600 (it was actualy detailed in euro but we might aswell asume a 1 to 1 conversion)

A top of the line 7970 Ghz is ~£400.

400+25% = 500
400+50%= 650

The Titan at £500-£600 ..is just right ..so one could argue its a good price : performance card :)

ofc this is all going on un offical details atm.
