Updated 780T Build

Dicehunter

Resident Newb
Moved from the Corsair 540, Great case but it was a little tight in areas and I wanted something with slightly better airflow and more watercooling options.

Day time shot, The front panel looks quite dusty but it's actually very clean, Looks that way due to reflections -

I'm still scratching my head with the 450D I've mock paneled the interior and removed my white extensions, just decided I didn't want to see cables at all, so it's a work in progress at the moment.. I'll get it finished one day.

That looks awesome all in black. I think the CPU cooler LED would be better if it was white though. I'm not sure if its changeable ;)

Thank you :)

Yep it is but the actual white of the LED logo doesn't go with the white of the fans, Looks a lot more pearl white than the fans frosty type of white hence I changed it to red to match the underglow of the mobo :)

Ah I guess that makes sense. I forgot about the whole underglow thing you did and I never really look at the dark pictures ;)

Indeed! Eldar Wraithguard strikes again ;) 5mm foamboard is the shizznit for mocking up, or if you're neat enough a final job with the added benefits that it's A: light B: soundproof.

Nice clean build mate, nicely done with the backplate and psu cover. what materials did you use and how did you achieve that nice rounded edge on the cover?

I got that rounded edge by putting the cut to shape plexi on a heating bar, I forget the proper name for the apparatus but you place it were you want it bent and the bar heats up very slowly and you push down on it with the other part of the machines arm when it's pliable until you get the curve you want :)

So basically heat and pressure. Wonder if you could do it ghetto style, with like a hairblower and bending the plexi over a piece of wood or something.

Cheers.

My first attempt was with a bread board and the stove hahaha ^_^

Actually looked very close to this one but it had a very slight bend in the middle so I asked a friend if I could use his workshop :)

still looks like a bike to me^_^

There are bikes out there that look like PC's ? :p
