Up to 3rd in CPC Benchie with Dual Core

This test is dominated in the top50 places by Q6600 or higher quad cores CPU's.

However, I-Ram in place on un-optimised installation sees my E6850 at only 3.83ghz move up to 3rd place in CPC Benchies (45th overall) - using dual core cpu.

Beaten only by K404 (DI @ 4.75ghz) and A N Other, rest of the cores above are quads.

I-Ram helps push both image and multitask tests up quite nicely - just pipped Blindfitters watercooled 6700 core 2 duo @ 4ghz with RAIDED raptors to 4th.

Still playing so might be an improvement but 2nd and 1st scores are way in front - might give me enough legs to squash some more quads before I save it for some more phase cooled quad action.

nice :) Do you have some comparison numbers at similar CPU clocks between I-RAM and a RAID? :)

Yes - I am at 39th in leaderboard and blindfitter is 46th - my core2 was at 3.82ghz, blindfitters was at 4ghz - my ram was at 5-5-5-15, BF's was 4-4-4-12, BF had 74gig raptors in RAID, i had no RAID and I-Ram.

Finally this install has everything on it - over 35 processes still running consuming over 200mb of resource - BF's install was clean.

I am using Blindfitter as the example as on the leaderboard I see it as the closest config to mine and I know pretty much what his set-up is and how the score came about.

I am trying now to push the CPU higher, which may give you a better clock for clock example.

If you see the scores on the leaderboard you will see where the main gains are.

Nicely done Mav, I'm just starting to get my kit sorted out but the Q6600 is starting to shine in 3D 2k6 enabling me to get higher and higher CPU scores, reeling in the one person sitting 200 odd points in front of me. To get those scores with a dualie is impressive to say the least.
