Unreal Engine 4 goes to consoles first

Epic can stick the next version of Unreal and it's engine where the sun don't shine as far as I'm concerned. UT3 was the most disappointing game i've ever played especially after all the build-up.

I thought it was close to being as bad as Quake4 was :(

Both quake4 and ut3 really remind me of console games, so no surprise really.

I think I played the ut3 demo for a few hours really trying to like it as I'd played and liked the previous ones :( such a let down, seemed to be another one of those games with pretty graphics but no substance in multiplayer.

I remember playing unreal for the first time, the graphics were amazing for the time :) and the gameplay was fresh and new.

Ah yes don't even get me started. The original Unreal is the very reason I'm here today. Seeing the intro screen of the castle looping around on a Voodoo2 sli system at a store my mate worked in instantly had me hooked. Even by today's standards its not too shabby.

Unreal Tournament, UT2003, UT2004 all great games too. RIP Unreal tbh.

Tbh, I`m not a big fan of UT3, but the engine for it is bringing some fair results from other devs.

I`d imagine the engine devs are fairly cross-platform in their design.

we still play original ut at college on usb pens :)

but yeh, ut3 is installed on my pc...havent played it more than twice lol
