I wouldn't mind if this came out this year as they've begun developing shortly after or simultaneously with origins.

Sources have told Kotaku that Odyssey will add dialogue choices to the series for the first time, adding to the Witcher-style changes kicked off with Origins. You’ll also reportedly be able to choose your protagonist for the first time, with a choice between a male or female main protagonist. However, it seems that Bayek, the protagonist from Origins, won’t return.

I bet it's a trilogy honestly. It would make sense too as the Ptolemaic era and the Greek Era ended roughly around the same time and seeing as how the *Spoiler avoiding* ended with what they said in Origins I could definitely seem them going to Greece.

I think that slowly turning it into a full blown RPG is a great thing.

I liked the older school action style gameplay but yeah I do like the additional RPG elements to it. A mix of both is ideal.
