Uplay is fine. Origin is fine too. Just unnecessary.
Steam is crap just like all the other ones. Nobody complains but steam probably has the worst customer service out of all of them

I actually adjusted to Steam, but it took a few years. Still have no love / patience for garbage like Uplay or Origin though.

I personally think Uplay is a pretty good platform. The way they reward you for completing certain challenges in games (free wallpapers, soundtracks or in-game content/cosmetics) is interesting. I do prefer Steam, but that's only because I have all of my games there.

Steam, Origin, UPlay, Battlenet, GoG, Windows Store, Bethesda.net, Epic, Social Club to name but a few.

There customer support is far better too.
