You mock it, but internal investigations like this happen often. They want answers as to why Skull n Bones had to go back to paper and overhaul the whole project, why bad decisions are being made, or who is making these bad judgement calls.
Is it the same select upper management not scrutinizing the development stages? are they too lax in their attention to detail? why are such ridiculous game breaking bugs passing QA on launch day?
It's all key areas like this which amount to games that had high potential, just falling flat and becoming memes within days.
