Twitter's Tick Verifications are reportedly becoming part of Twitter Blue

What's wrong with that?

I wouldn't say there's anything inherently wrong with trying to grow a business, but there's usually quite a lot wrong with one man having vast amounts of wealth that continues to grow exponentially. It often doesn't mean good things for others. I'm not saying that's what is going to happen here, but if Elon had his way, there are many that would suffer. He's just a man after all. I think people (in general, not you) have idolised him. But I think he's quite fragile, like all of us, and probably shouldn't have as much money or power as he does.

For some reason, i have no issues with him and his billions. Even the idea of him making more is fine but Jef Bezos... i despise him and everything about him. Can't really explain it. Maybe its more that he exploits his workers worse than any western rich man alive today. They are both eccentric, but to me Musk sees the future as technology, where as Bezos just sees exploitation?

Will be interesting to see what he does to Twitter. To me its just turned into P**n advertising for everyone that has some OF account now.

I don't agree with this in regards to Elon.

His "vast wealth" is tied in stocks and the other week Tesla hit a one year low and he lost billions. In addition to that all that money he makes goes into EVs and Space exploration. EVs alone transformed the world. While I don't care for Tesla you cannot deny the fact without Elon the production of EVs would have certainly not be anywhere close to what we have today. While they save on carbon emissions, sure the mining portion is not as eco friendly however you gotta start somewhere and technology still hasn't found a solid alternative.

Just like you mentioned your distate regarding Jeff above, it's the same here, like Goldfish stated... It has been free and now it's a paying service. It's stated to combat bots etc, but it's all just to make him even more wealthy.

It's unproportional for someone to be that rich, meanwhile millions of peole are starving around the world and barely have fresh water to drink.

It's just unfair in my opinion that's all and greedy to an extent as well.

Didn't mention anything of the sort.

Why is it unproportional? He hardly had much money. He has stocks. That's not liquid cash. He also has lost tens of billions of dollars in a day. Is that also unfair?

My apologies, it was Warchild that said that, a bit tired after work so that was my bad.

Doesn't matter wether it's liquid cash or not, it's his wealth, he can still sell his stocks and would still have loads.

No it's not unfair if he has lost tens of billions in a day, cause those money he will earn back the next day or the next week anyway. He literally makes in a second, what most people doesn't even make during several annual salaries.

So yes, I still stand by my point that it's unfair and specially unproportional.

You can try to discuss this as much as you'd like with me, I'll still stand by my point though.

If he tries to cash out he will lose billions. It's not a positive transaction. He CANNOT just sell stock when he pleases. He has to announce he will and why he is according to SEC guidelines. It's the same reason why Bill Gates doesn't sell stock in Microsoft.

You may as well never even voice your opinion if it's just "I'm right nothing else matters but please discuss with me". You have opinions but I've yet to see any understanding on the matter.

I'm just as rightful as anyone else in here to speach my opinion, am I not?...

I've never said I am right, that's your words. All I said is that you can discuss this all you want with me, it won't change my point. Doesn't mean I am right, just means it's my opinion.

I just choose to not discuss this with you since you seem pretty hard bent on trying to convince me of something other than my own opinion, despite it being false or not.

And I am certainly not here to make you understand my opinion on the matter, I don't have to defend my opinions towards you and I honestly don't care if you understand them or not.

Anywho, that's enough from my ranting on this discussion. Back on topic from my end.

It's not hard bent whatsoever. You're voicing opinions with incorrect information and refuse to listen. That's just being naive bud.

Well it's an opinion, doesn't mean it has to be correct. And I do listen, just doesn't make it automatically correct just because it's coming from you.

You've given no indication as to listening besides saying you are and have yet to bother verifying my information if you are so inclined to not believe it, because you don't listen nor care. Just proves my point.

Do as you wish.
