Twitter will stop counting links and pictures towards its 140-character limit within the next two weeks in order to give users more flexibility when using the site.

That's good for twitter. There stock is really hurting and investors are getting tired of them for constantly being last place amongst social media competitors.
Personally I don't even use it, so don't matter!
