TTL how're you getting on with new desk ?

As above rally, I bought the same desk tops as you have in your new office, only on a smaller scale. I went for 1 corner and 1 120mm, on top of a pair of Micke drawer units, and a Micke desk ( I hate not having the desk flat against the wall )

The problem I'm having is the quality, it sucks. i have just removed everything and moved the desk down the wall, so I can have the cable side of the case against the wall, and noticed that there are loads of little white spots, at first I thought it was dust, so gave it a wipe, but it is little tiny holes, through the surface.

I can't figure out how the hell it happened, I'm uber careful, and on the point of ocd, when it comes to clutter, so nothing has ever been put at the point of the spots. really just a heads up on a possible problem you might encounter.

I have one of the corners as a desk. I don't see any spots. However they do pick up dust like no one's business.

I no on my last desk, the surface was barely a thin like paper coating, I was hoping that the Ikea tops weren't the same type of thing, but looking at how shallow a hole there is before the bare wood, it looks like these are made the same. It's almost like thin wood effect di-noc.

I can't figure out how the hel they have appeared, it's right in front of my rig, and I have got mouse mats that I use to put anything on. I must have put something on there at some point, but I now it was nothing that should cause that effect after just 2 weeks.

Dust magnet be buggered, it's a nightmare.
here is a pic of one of the 4 areas that have the spots.
