TSMC is aiming to have 10nm production ready next year despite the fact that their 16nm node was delayed by 9 months.

So that means ready to start making by the end of 2016 with the consumer getting products at the end of 2017 then ^_^

they have been promising and not delivering since 32nm, they are to blame for us being stuck on 28nm gpu's for so long(global foundries aswell) and their 16nm is not suitable for high power devices at this point, not to mention 20nm interconnect, perhaps 10nm with 16nm interconnect, but there is no way they will have 10nm parts by 2017 in the market, they have delayed the nodes many times over by now if anyone can do it it intel and samsung plus both have superior nodes

Don't think they will beat Intel though. Intel will be full 10nm unlike a 10nm and 16nm interconnect. GPUs probably won't get a shrink till next year and that's if large amounts of progress is made.
