best size monitor for triple display

also is there anything extra i need to look for in a monitor when choosing them for a triple display set up

should of added this with ur other thread lol I'd say native 1080 support should have ya set but as i havent ran triple yet I cant say for 100%

The size of the display won't impact to performance. A 27' still has the same amount of pixels as a 18' (that's if your talking 1080p). Size is depends on whether or not you can fit it.

As has ready been said, most people go with what they can afford. I think the most common size is 22" and 24" for triple display setups and obviously you can range in price between monitors depending on display type, 3D, quality of the picture and brand etc. Hope this helps

Get a tape measure, and sit at you computer desk. Measure up from the surface of the desk to your eyeballs, that's where you want the center of your screen. Measure the width of the desk, and divide that by 3. Got to the store and get 3 monitors you can afford as close to those two measurements.

When there look for ones that look brighter and cleaner than the rest. A bright clean monitor can always be turned down, but a dull lifeless one will washout when trying to brighten it.

I like the Acer S series and ASUS 23" in the under $150 range.

thanks that helped a lot

P.S. don't go to crazy on the size if you want sound in your games, remember to leave room for speakers on your desk

It's not about screen size, rather bezel size. I would imagine the best to play on would be 3 32" 2560x1600 displays BUT you have a half inch to full inch bezel surrounding that X2 in account for the bezel on the other display, making a very ugly eyefinity/surround experience.

It also depends on how far away you sit from the screens, the closer you sit the smaller the max size, otherwise you cant see all of the screens lol. 22 inch is the best size if you want a nice stand to support them all 3, finding stands to mount 3 screens in a nice way costs a ton

Anyway it comes down to how big can you afford it ^^ (and the bezels you dont want giant bezels on your monitors, it ruins the experiance)
