I'm not doing this for me but for my Neighbour who is curious to find out some of his relatives from WW1 and WW2, does anyone know of any online recourses that may help me?

Theres a veterans page on there iirc, god knows how much info though...

Try the British Legion or the Commonwealth War graves comission if they died during either war.

If you can give some more detail, a friend that I work with may be able to get you some links. What he needs are which service, when and where they served.
