Total War: Warhammer?

It was leaked yesterday that the extremely popular real-time strategy series Total War will now be focusing on a futuristic warhammer setting.

The game was leaked when an artbook called "The Art of Total War" was shipped too early to a customer. An interview with The Creative Assembly's creative director Mike Simpson published in the book reveals that the developer is working on a game titled Total War: Warhammer.

Nothing yet is known about the game but I'm sure we'll be hearing more on this soon, and this story shall be updated as soon as news arrives.

In the meantime, the next installment is Atilla: Total War, and is schedueled for release on the 17th of February this year.

Me neither, I personally don't think I'll be interested in this, warhammer was when I was about 10 years old, I guess some older guys still do it which is why I thought I would share it.

I'm probably going to pick up Atilla though.

I got it on CDkeys for only $28.. beats steams $45 price tag.

OMG, THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!

I love the Total War games, even though they are so buggy at launch. I haven't played any Warhammer games, but I will try this.

Ya that i can't disagree with. Though i feel it's mainly the engine's fault. The engine they are using was originally created back in 08'. First game to use it was Empire. We all know that launch was crap. Every game after that generally had a problem and comes along Rome 2.. yep that game was horrible till patch 15. Common denominator? Use the same engine, each of them. Each time it's more heavily modified than before and gets more complex. They mine as well dedicate a team to specificially create a new engine or just license one from someone else.

Are they that bad at launch? The last one I got at launch was Empire but I never played it, well apart from once or twice. Not touched the others since the original Rome, played a bit of Rome 2 but not as much as I'd like, I might have to install it. I do want Atilla. :)

Yes but they do eventually fix it and they do hand out a freeLC to make up for it. It's no where near Ubisoft's launches though.

Attilla looks promising. I would never pay $45 for it on steam so i went to CDkeys and got it half price. I wouldn't spend anymore on it than that though.
