Total War: Warhammer 2 Trench Craventail Free-LC planned

I don't really like Skaven. So I'm a little disappointed. Was hoping for some Lizardmen content. But Skaven is one of the most popular factions in the lore so I understand most people will be happy

With you there bud, I still have not played as Skaven and doubt I will anytime soon.

The Skaven is personally one of my favourite new factions due to how differently the play, refreshing to play swarm tactics every once in a while.

I think a lot of people will be disappointed that this leader is from a lesser Skaven clan, but this is free DLC after all. The Free-LC roadmap points to an Elves DLC lord next and then a Lizardmen lord. Lots of people were expecting clan Skyre or Clan Moulder for the Skaven.

A Skaven clan with an affinity for Frozen terrain will also allow for some more action in the tundrous regions of the map, which is good for campaign variety.

Eh it's just Skaven to me just bother me for some reason. I think it's thier personality honestly.
I do like that they prefer the frozen terrain will finally allow for some dark elf vs Skaven in the campaign

Yeah, I can see why you might not like that. I love it, but I can see why others find it annoying.

TBH the factions that I don't like playing as are Chaos/Beastmen (wandering armies), the Orcs and the Vampire Counts. Don't like the Orcish fightiness system and I just don't like playing as Vampires, not quite sure why.

Vampires are my favourite :D

You, sir, are the worst type of person. (joke)

Fair enough, TBH it is probably the lack of ranged units that annoys me the most, their strong cav and monster units are nice though.

I know there are mods to add skeleton archers and artillery, but I think that spoils the balance.

Cheeky monkey :P

The mod that adds archers and artillery don't really add that much other than flavour.
Archers are living Bretons as are the trebuchet and then only recruitable from a few settlements in Bretionia
