Well after the last house fell through and we've found a new, much more suitable location (so it actually worked out for the better).

We meet with the owner of the property tonight to give her our credit reports, references, employment verification, and first months rent + deposit.

WISH ME/US LUCK! :) I really want this house. I'll try and snap some pix of the property tonight with my digi while I'm out there.

Only drawback to this place is that our only net option is satellite :( Fortunately satellite has gotten a bit better since it's inception where your upload had to be over a phone-line. It's going to cost us $80/month for 1.5/256 through HughesNet, ouch! Better than dialup, so I can't really complain.

I'll have 3 pre-modded SB5100's for sale if anyone's interested, pm me :)
 
Good luck Frag, moving house is very stressful I did it a few months back.

Glad it's all worked out for the better :D

I think everything went off without a hitch! I gave her all my info and the check, she's gonna write up the lease tonight and we sign it tomorrow :)

We decided to go with a 2 year lease, w00t.
 
NOOOOOOOO!! Dont get DirecGAY!!! Please for the love of god find a different ISP. Wildblue sat, some form of Aircanopy there, anything BUT DirecGAY. 80k DL speeds and pings of up to 6000 or greater for games. ZOMG dont get it.

Yessir, HughesNET it is :) I was planning on getting WildBlue but they are currently over-capacity in our area and not taking new subscribers.

I wouldnt be putting a smiley face at all dude. More like a :( or something. Im guessing you have no experience with them? Id search for something in your area thats like Aircanopy here in my area. With DirecGay whenever it rains you lose signal, heavy winds, lose signal, puff of cloud goes over, lose signal. No joke dude. Me and my best friend have had the worst experiences ever with Direcgay. Come to find out after listening to other people theyve had the same or worse.
