Tinted acrylic

Does anyone know a good, well priced supplier from whom I can get a fairly large sheet of black TINTED acrylic. I ideally want a piece at LEAST 652 x 205(cutting isnt a problem either).

Also has anyone seen a DVD RW that uses the same ejecting method as a car head-unit (ie. no disc tray) for sale in the UK?

The DVD drive you are looking for is a plextor unit who do slot loading drives, duinno about the acrylic soz

Thankyou kemp, searching 'slidey in and out DVD RW without cd tray' on google wasnt turning up much

It looks like i'll be buying a lot of clear acrylic and some Limo Black window tint but i'd still rather get the real deal.

EDIT : After a quick froogle, the price of that DVD drive is a joke, looks like i'll have to re-think and go for some stealthing

Probably due to the fact that theyre the only ones that make them. I'm talking to ham about it now and think I have a rather sexy solution

This time i'm not going to make the mistake of starting a project thread and then filling it with pictures / not managing to get the project off the ground so i'll wait a week or two till i'm loaded and then order the lot at once

Ye Plextor are the only slot loading DVD-RW's I know of. Pioneer to a DVD-R slot drive (106S i think its called).

There are loads of laptop style slot loading ones.. not all by plextor..

you can buy drive bezels from pc world that make any drive do it

Pretty sure that is 100% impossible as its a mechanical difference, not superficial

Plus a bezel would spoil the look i'm going for
