Well its been a while since since i was lucky enough to be picked as the winner , now its time to share whats going on .
I am replacing my ageing packard bell all in one with the items , but rather than just do a basic chuck the parts in a black box build , i am giving it a good home (yes mad and completely hooked now on builds )

Right time to start stripping

Remove the standard fans and get some higher static pressure ones fitted

I know the ram kit may not match the overall theme and may look a little odd in the end but it was a bargain

Nice, what did you win and what are the specs of the build?
So i was lucky enough to win the mother board and cpu and then went hunting for deals where i could , cause i wanted to give it a good home :)

Spec will be when finished

evolv X case in black
maximus X hero mobo
8700k cpu
dominator platinum torq 32gb 3200 ram
evo 870 m.2 boot drive
evo 850 2tb storage drive
ek 360 rgb liquid cooling kit
4x additional ek 120 rgb fans
seasonic ss750 power supply
titan Xp star-wars Jedi addition gpu
and a set of alchemy 2 psu cables

Couple more bits of the puzzle turned up today , over-site by me my last ek cooling kit was supplied with 13/10 tubing , but for some reason ek decided to change the size to 16/10 for the rgb kit , so extension make it easier to help clearance on radiator fittings .
For a high end phanteks case not to supply at least one ssd holder seems a bit odd too

Power supply time , i do like Seasonic :)

It's an awesome case. Finnished my built in december.
But need to change the water, and the addressable RGB took me by surprise :/
You can't just buy a splitter and add more strips.
And the Phanteks D-RGB don't work with a cablemod strip :)

But looking forward to seeing the end result :)

So i had sometime today , can not put it off anymore cable to be run and tidied

And before anyone comments yes i did try and do it properly or as best as i can cause i'm no artist

next is the cooling but i kept changing my mind on run , will update when Mr indecisive make up his mind

thank you , as for the deals alot is just being in the right place at the right time , i was in no rush which also helps :)

So i had a bit of a second wind last night and got the loop sorted (well for now )

I might when i feel brave enough invest in some hardline tubing as there are only 3 straight runs and i have enough wiggle room with the fittings , but thats for another day :)

Filled loop this afternoon to flush then drained and refilled , left running for about 4 hours then checked fitting , no leaks result

Time to fit GPU and see if i have actually got this right , and the crunch question will it post ?

Yes It Posted ! looks like a fairground ride but it posted , have a couple of issues with fans not reporting rpm correctly on the included fan hub , so i will have to pop it out of the case to have a closer look later
