This to cool my ram?

Ya some1 did a newsy on them just b4 christmas I think, I`d watch the pricing, if it`s close to $15 I`d get one. (I only say $15 as other manufs make em for about that)

Awww Ham guessed correctly - Yes that was where I priced up from, thanks to Ayd for finding it :p

I may be buying a new tft if specialtech feel like a sale so if i buy ill make sure i get in the same delivery

looks a hell of a lot better than corsairs version of the same thing. I can't wait to recieve mine, will suit my mod really well lots of aly and mesh going on inside the case :)

It looks ok, but in certain setups it would just be fighting with the cpu fan for air

eg: freezer 7 pro / any tower cpu cooler

It seems more gimmicky than anything.

I wouldn't think so, well not at a level to actually notice - thats in my setup with my beasty ass zalman (the jet engine looking one ^^)

With fans fighting tho the 60mm's might not last that long and would be a waste

(2700 RPM)12CFM 60mm's vs 60CFM 120mm ?

I think they were designed for people with waterblocks tbh.

I know my ram hit very high temps cos there was no air moving over it. Only fans were on the rad.

Well do you reckon there is enough air moving over my ram? There are no fans situated in the top area of my case but my cpu cooler is about 3cm away from the ram - if this would drag enough air over them i'd be happy, its just i need to upgrade my pc somehow lol with all these january sales!!

Might be considering a widescreen monitor

These things are awesome. I was going to get one from ST but I kinda forgot about it completely, and now that my computer is dead, bleh :(

I think Ham is right. Would be good for someone who is watercooling.

If you're that worried about your RAM temps, monitor them.

If you have a zalman pulling air over the RAM and the RAM has heatspreaders I wouldn't worry too much.

Are you overclocking the RAM by much?

Not yet as im running at a 1:1 thingy and i havent pushed my cpu too far as im almost hitting 50c as it is (think ram was at 780mhz last time i checked) and my cpu is 2.6ghz and a bit

It was more of an extra rather than a necessity as i have a lingering for more performance
