This is Steam's most experimental "game" to date

He will get water poisoning...

Too much water = Sodium imbalance and can cause fatal death: hyponatremia
Surely he can't be that stupid that he doesnt check this kind of thing?...

yikes just imagine all the cells in your brain swelling :S

He didn't specify the size of the glass though. Could be a tiny glass with only one sip. In fact it should be if he wants to live. And even then it is a huge risk if a bunch of people decide to buy the game.

What a sad and pathetic way for a talentless young man to try to make money doing nothing.

While he's free to do whatever he wants I think the saddest thing here is how little steam give a crap about what goes on their storefront. They've stopped almost full stop short of pron games even then some of them cut it close.

Steam only cares about money and screwing devs over with their share policy's.

'Careful. The Steam fan boys might retaliate with bad words about Epic :D

But yes, this should be removed from Steam. You are paying for nothing in return. Surely thats against the policies in place.

Maybe, but maybe not. See, if the guy is only promising to drink a glass of water for every purchase and you know exactly what you're paying for, then can you really claim that you're getting nothing in return?

By that logic though (and not to be argumentative for the sake of it)

He could get 1000 sales, and drink ONE glass of water with the message "as promised for you" whose to say who it was intended for.

Further more, the world is full of stupid people. How many will try something just as idiotic and hurt themselves. Look at the craze we had with the dishwasher capsules with the bright colours.. some died from it.

Oh, I am not justifying this. I don't think that this should be on Steam and I think the guy behind it is a talentless hack who wants to make a quick buck doing nothing. But I wouldn't be surprised if it stays on Steam.

An ingenious way to get free money, but since there doesn't seem to be an actual game involved, it's against the Steam rules of accepted content types, so hopefully will be taken down.
