Thermaltake Technology today announced the introduction what it claims to be the 'world’s first waterblock for Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX graphic cards'. Has Thermaltake been living under a bushel? Will this find pride of place on your 8800 GTX? Feel free to comment below...

Yeah agreed, I really dunno what planet they're on tbh. I mean full cover waterblocks for 8800's are readily available now...EK, BFG etc. Craziness

Looks like they've taken an Arctic Silencer, hollowed out the copper and stuck two tubes on it.

That is the nastiest POS I have seen in a long time. I don't think any sane 8800 owner will let that anywhere near their card...

Another outstanding contribution to the industry by Thermaltake. How do they keep on doing it?

Oh good god, that thing looks like its been home made with some PVA and scraps of copper and plastic. If I was really rich I would buy out thermaltake and close them down.

I really hope thermaltake see these responses. Although judging by the fact that they think that their monstrosity is the first 8800 block out there, I doubt they have internet.

Lol. Probably cos people keep on buying it. I'll have the $5 hold-down plate for my MCW60 thankyouverymuch.

By all accounts, Thermaltake makes cr@ppy watercooling products, but what about their cases? I've heard good things about their cases, anyone here want to back that up?

I would liken their cases to a nice case that has been taken and modified by someone who spends too much time watching programs involving space ships. They're decent enough but for the price you can get a 2nd hand Lian Li or a nice blank case and mod it into something sexy

Used to like my Xaser case, but that was quite a number of years ago - and now when I look at it I can point out the bad things.

But to be fair, it`s a solid case of the type that has a door on the front top. Is as good as an ATX comes to work inside of, if u got a number of drives and u love fans! Had a thermal display and fan/usb/fire thingy on the top 5.25 bay (that I never got working tbh, then lost interest) - not like the wild-colored Xaser they sell atm, nice`n`black.

As well as solid, it is very very heavy - might be a ThermalAntiTheft security thing !!

Oldy old now tho, one of meh nephews might think it kewl tho >.<

LMAO, Rastalovich just gave me a great idea...

THE GREAT PC ANTI-THEFT CONTEST!:D

I want to know who can build the best anti-theft device(s) into their rig so anyone trying to pilfer their baby gets taken down! (Please include pictures and/or videos of your a/t devices in action.)
