In all fairness, Scythe with their Gentle Typhoon had this type of fan out long before Noctua, Not in white though ^_^

They aren't even nearly comparable. GTs are far outclassed in this comparison. I replaced 6 of them for the noctuas...

6x GT's would have cost ~£65-75. 6x noctuas cost ~£162 for the browns or £180 for black. Not exactly a fair contest. My AP-15's are nearly 9 years old and still going well. Regardless of the fact that the Noctua has slightly superior noise/flow performance, the GT is still a very good fan and had a spectacular price to performance ratio. They can still be bought via dazmode for $18.99 CAD. (£11 here) Shame they don't ship outside the US/Canada.
