I actually use the little cloths for cleaning glasses - as in a pair of glasses. They work really well. Plus thermal compound cleaner fluid, obvs.

I know this will be frowned upon, but I used Turpentine Substitute on mine with tissue. Does a brilliant job of cleaning and as long as you dry it reasonable quick it doesnt do any damage

i use a kitchen papertowel and some paint thickener or white spirit whatever i find in my shed XD(dont recommend it lol)

make sure you use mayo as a new paste

just to be totally awesome xd

kitchen roll and rubbing alcohol then a dry rub with just kitchen roll

Paper towel, scrub with rubbing alcohol with a soft toothbrush and finish with a cloth for cleaning my glasses. Never thought of it before and never seen anyone do it so I'm not sure if this is the right way but it has worked for me...

Oops, missed it, read the paint thickner but missed white spirit. I was speed reading

Lighter fluid? Never seen or heard that one before :s

Well it is a solvent so it should work or I've been putting lighter fluid on my CPU for no reason both are highly likely.
