The use of any keyboard may cause serious injury

I noticed this warning on the bottom of my K95

If you can't read it, it says "Some experts believe the use of any keyboard can cause serious injury to hands, wrists, arms, neck, or back. If you feel pain, numbness, or weakness in these areas see a qualified health professional"

This just made me chuckle reading this; I just can't believe how far Health & Safety things go these days. Seriously, if you incur serious injury to your back from using any keyboard you're probably using it wrong!

I think I'd best send mine back, and never use a keyboard again before I end up in A&E. I'm going to have to handwrite all future posts, scan them in to the PC and upload them as JPEGs onto here, sorry for any inconvenience.

without using a keyboard......i do hope you have shortcut links to your photobucket etc.... what's next, looking at the monitor is bad for your eyes....... oh wait, that already exists.... what about using the mouse.....nah thats already been done too..... RSI.

Stupid Health and safety.

well i suppose it depends what you're using the keyboard for really, am pretty sure a keyboard could injure someone swung or thrown at them the right way hahaha

The only way a keyboard could cause back injury is if you where to put it inside your shirt and started doing sit ups.

Nah, it's the whole sitting still at a computer for too long, rather than the typing itself. Probably around repetitive strain, and Carpel Tunnel injuries. It'll just be one of the warnings they legally have to put on US products just to cover themselves if people try to sue them.

For example (taken from the iTunes license agreement):

You also agree that you will not use these products for any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture, or production of nuclear, missile, or chemical or biological weapons.

Not sure about you lot, but I generally don't use iTunes to manufacture my nuclear weapons.

Haha that made my day but i get your point

I know that's what it really meant, but I just found it so funny lol xD

I'm not sure if any of you watch South Park (S15E01) but that iTunes T&Cs bit you mentioned just reminded me of this episode so much lol. They don't read the T&Cs and they sign themselves up to be part of a Humancent-iPad, and everyone else is like "What?! You DIDN'T read the terms and conditions?!?!"

Yeah true that, this is a pretty hefty keyboard haha

There's just so many stupid signs out there, my friend got me a poster for my birthday with loads of them on :)

I've seen this disclaimer on the bottom of a Puma plastic bag a couple of years ago, as soon as I saw this thread I remembered about it, and luckily, I still have the bag :)
