G'day gents. I've been working on me rig over the holidays (because no kids). It's not anywhere NEAR done yet, but I must say I'm enjoying the color change!

Before:

Dat flow meter (ugh!):

After:

So much more to do, but not a bad start. Purple is the new black. :D

Bonus pic of a pretty full Case Labs pedestal (12 PWM Gentle Typhoons + a pair of Alphacool 360 Monstas): :)

Thanks guys!

Very nice. How did you find the hard tubing?

I REALLY hate doing hard tube. I have no talent at ALL when it comes to measuring stuff properly, so I restrict myself to 2-dimensional bends. I wasted LOTS of tube trying to do a 3-way bend from the CPU to the top rad, so I gave up and copped out with that weird radioactive L-fitting, since I've had those laying around for YEARS and never used them. :)

If YOU did hard tube, you'd get the hang of it VERY quickly, since you have tool / measuring skills. Just buy lots of extra. You'd do a great job with hard tube man. For a guy with your skills, it would be CAKE.

I'm not going to go hard (fnarr) dude. I don't really like it. Prefer the organic curves you get with soft tubing. I liked it for a while but yeah, gone off it a bit now. Plus I would need to add all sorts of draining stuff etc where as now I just undo the CPU block and it comes out of the PC. Made it easy switching a CPU out the other day, didn't even need to drain or change any coolant :D

I'm much too fickle to have hard tubing :D

Actually the best part of having a pedestal like this IS the drain setup. I literally drained / refilled this thing probably close to 20 times over the holidays, since it started out more pink than purple, and the dude could not abide pink. :)

This looks ghetto as heck, but works unbelievably well:

Yeah I bet it's heavenly having a pedestal :)

If I ever do my final build it will have a pedestal :)
