until the nextgen consoles moved towards DX11, the larger companies will not make big budget games.

the sony PS4 is scheduled for Q1 2013

microsoft have no plans to upgrade the xbox360, but are planning an entirely new console

both consoles will be DX11

big difference between mainstream and high end mate tbh, i bet the 590 could do that today but it will be the 660 at least before it hits mainstream.

By mainstream/ high end i meant £200 ~ £300 worth of cards. Ofcourse a MSI big bang fully populated with 6990s could make short work of that, but that would cost thousands!
