Compelling story? They must be thinking of a completely different game called Bad Company. Battlefield titles have sorry excuses for a story. That's like saying SW Battlefront 1 had a great story.

I'd love the new game to be Bad Company 3, TBH I the last one I played seriously was Bad Company 2.

lololol I wouldn't trust DICE to make a compelling story even if it was written by Yager Development beforehand
But I digress, I can guarantee the multiplayer will be a micro-payment safari as well. I'll be giving this a miss. Haven't played an EA game in years and can't say I've missed much

I thought the campaign on BF3+4 were really damn good, I hope they copy that format instead of BF1's single player campaign which I really didn't like.

Looks like they will repeat the 1 war stories as I interpret it. I'll pass then. If it's WW2 I'll also pass.
I agree on 3. 4 was a bit weak and scattered for me. Either way, we play it for the multiplayer right?
As long as it isn't anything like that ridiculous cops and robbers release which was so bad I forget the name (Hardline, Hardwire, Hardluckwesuck, or something) then, it could be a potato and still sell.

I honestly don't, I only got 3+4 because they had decently long single player campaigns, In actual fact I generally don't like multiplayer unless it's co-op.
