A testament to the depths that television has allowed itself to sink... or... a sad commentary on the intelligence of the people that watch it!

There are still good shows on TV. I mean, it's all subjective, but there's still shows that I love. There's a lot of shows that I wouldn't watch if I were paid to, but there's still hope out there.

It's not the shows that scare me, it's the people that watch them. Supply and demand dictates that there are enough people watching these shows to create a profit.
That is really god damn terrifying.
 
Scrubs is my all time favourite.
Scrubs, House, Castle, Firefly, Criminal Minds and The Mentalist - I could, and shall, watch these shows for days on end.
 
Aye, it really does seem as though a lot of the best shows come from the US. Bigger budgets, I guess.

Still, we have Top Gear, QI, Blackadder and Monty Python, so fair's fair ;)
 
Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Dexter and Walking Dead are all relatively viral shows that I never started watching. Gimme a few years and i'll buy the box sets :)
