The fastest DDR2 available?

Is it PC2 9600? 1200mhz?

I'm sticking with ddr2 for some time as my blitz rocks.

The only conceivable upgrades for my rig is more/faster ram and of course gfx.

So, what is the best fastest ddr2 ram? Kingston Hipex 1200 5-5-5-15 is only £126 for 2gb!

I could get another set of celly's but now they have decided to only be prime stable at 1000ish mhz...

More damnit, i need more!

LOL - mate where you been? pc-8500 (1066mhz) was out in Nov-06!

Fastest I can find is pc-9600

Aaah socket A - hey it aint too bad. Can get like a 3200+? Couple that with 2GB Ram and a nice AGP card and it is still a fair system, as for the fastest DDR2...

I can only find some 9200, looks like DDR2 is reaching it's limit?

The best that I've tried in the last year or so have been the Crucial Ballistix 1066Mhz sticks. I have had 5 sets and all of them have hit 1200Mhz or more, memtest stable with the stock 2.2v, and one of them did 1380Mhz on 2.3v.

I have had the Team ones that were mentioned and they died within a few days, without bein overvolted, and the replacement set didnt last much longer, and the RMA turnaround was over 6 weeks.

Same here. I was gutted when I killed my set. They did 1200mhz on such low volts.
