Looks like it's using RT reflections in that screenshot. RT reflections and RTGI really do add to the atmosphere of a game... but if this is coming out in the next few weeks then all my free time will be gone for a few months

Next week? That sounds unlikely. You'd think there would be more marketing involved. But I guess since there's nothing else exciting coming out, it's as good a time as any.

I think it would be good if more game companies did out of the blue releases instead of teasing a game for 5+ years in which time basically everything is known with no surprises.

If it truly is a remake and moved on to UE5 then sure I could see it being quite popular.
Although it will change how modding works. So that will be interesting to see how the community responds. UE (or any engine for that matter) is not as moddable as the Creation Engine.

I will take modded Oblivion over remaster with shiny graphics any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
