The Division will soon be releasing on PC, but what kind of performance did we get while running the beta? The Results may surprise you.

Have a look at the PC performance of The Divison's PC Beta.

Seems about right, I was getting the same 40-60FPS range on Ultra at 1440P too but with a single 980 Ti so as a 980 Ti is getting the same as a 980 it could be limited in some way.

We'll have to wait for the finished product and game ready drivers for proper performance numbers from both AMD and Nvidia :)

please dont use imgur for the image's. it make it very hard to compare the two images.

Thank you for the feedback, the problem has been noted. It used to directly go to the image and not look at the imgur nonsense, but it seems they have changed it.

I am currently looking into other options for hosting the images, as the 4K images are slightly too big for the site to use.

If you have anyone has any helpful advice it would be greatly appreciated, as we are always looking to improve how we do things here.

Seems AMD have stepped up their driver game :)

They don't even have drivers for the last couple games WYP has written for. Last one was for RottR. Since then he has reviewed Xcom2, Dying Light, Hitman, and the Division:)
AMD drivers have always been top notch for me(never been in Xfire so idk about that side). So stepping it up to me is just staying at the same level i've already experienced:p

Considering 1 x 980 *non Ti* at 1440P Ultra gets the same frames as a 980 Ti at 1440P Ultra I think we definitely need to wait for the finished product and proper drivers before we make any concrete assumptions although I really do hope AMD's performance doesn't get gimped by some last minute GW feature they cram in.

I'm not making assumptions, I just agreed with what you said and then corrected you about there drivers not having been updated in a while:)
Which they need to release one already.. that's 4 big games coming out/open beta recently that don't have a proper driver.

Didn't say you did bud, I said we, Meaning in general :)

Will be interesting to see when AMD get a proper driver in place though.

Either way point still stands:p
But I wonder if they are just holding the driver back until Fury X2 comes out so it gets a launch driver that's optimized for it? Only thing I could think of since it should be coming out very soon.

Makes sense although it's anyones guess with AMD/Nvidia ^_^

imgur have changed their linking policy lately, so if you embed the full path now, the first time you view the image it goes to the 'framed' window, however you'll notice that if you view the link again, you go directly to the image...

I was getting some serious bugs with this game with SLi on, but after around 20 hours of play I managed to force it off using nvcp and then it seemed fine, not bad performance for a single 780. It felt like some of the particle effects, particularly when in the darkzone checkpoints, were causing issues. I had some weird 'sticky' motion blur things that kept breaking as well, but yeah after 26 hours of play this weekend, I'm buying this, and taking some time off to enjoy it :P

not said that about a game in a very long time...

Edit:
WYP, looking at these screenshots, it looks like you've gone to menu, changed settings and just come straight back? (looking at how much time of day has passed between shots (which skews some of the 'shadowing' differences for me, a lot))

Did you not do a full reload of the game (like it asks you to?) because there are significant differences between when you do, and when you don't, especially in terms of FPS, and what actually renders (especially in terms of textures and object streaming).

Same here, I have only been properly addicted to 1 other game in the last 12+ months, Mad Max, And from the experience I had with the beta The Division is no different.

Sleepless nights ahead ^_^
