The Division 2 PC Performance Review

I've got mine on ultra @1440p. Initially I put it on 1080p, but I was getting huge dips in frames when going from inside levels to outside. Like, 110FPS down to 30. I set it to 1440p, now it's like 80 inside and 40 outside. I would guess it's my low clocked CPU causing the anomaly.

Great game, and so much better than the first. The drone is the stuff of legend. It's just an absolute riot throwing it up in the air and then sending it around to bother people. It also acts as brilliant cover fire to stop them firing at you :D

Yeah, that sounds like low CPU clocks. This thing scales to a lot of cores, but single-threaded performance is a great thing to have.

I let nvidia decide it put me on med high mixture, but I don't think SLI is supported which sucks for me since I'm 970 sli, it runs fine but normally I'd be able to play max and get similar framerate and something tells me it won't get added, only found out since it was set to single card in global settings and if I put it on afr2 it didn't sync correctly but maybe a fix will happen.

My ryzen is barely breaking a sweat in games hardly ever gets to 30% load it's so nice to have a chip that really can handle multi tasking.

its been cpu bottlenecking. Im getting those dips on any setting.

the skills bug though is downright annoying. Worse than most of the crap in Anthem.
I use shield, run it and it despawns...

Same with most skills, they just disappear and go on a 15sec timer. Luckily Massive are investigating, but it ruins the fun of skill use so much.

Hmm. I've had so much fun with the turret and drone I've not tried any other skills yet. The drone and turret don't last long if you don't keep them moving. They will get shot down. The art is hiding and letting them rip, continually using a RB and LB to switch targets. Then when they do break I just pop up with my big sod off machine gun and mop up.

hmm? my turret is like a tank and not even modded. Its never destroyed. When it works (doesnt despawn) I just leave it on a table and it takes out the grenadiers.

the bug though affects all skills. drones, firefly included. Even the pulse effect you gain disappears. Someone believes it could be down to using cooldown reductions on your gear causing it.

I'll have a go at this game next week.
I reckon my undervolted V64 nitro+ will achieve better min fps at 4k than the test card here, because the undervolting removes throttling and dips in the core clock.
