The dates for Steam's summer sale have leaked

Not buying anything. All the games I look forward to are on console and pre purchased.
Except endless space 2, but I already have it:)

I won't be buying anything unless there is a deal I cannot pass up on, as I am still looking for work and have £600 left in the bank to last me till I find work.

There aren't that many games I want either. Games I do want and might consider getting:

Civilization VI
Rocket League
Hitman
Farming Simulator 17
Fallout 4
Dues Ex Mankind Divided
Call of Duty (might get BOII to see if I am any better compared to console)

And then there are a bunch of Indie games I'll probably get:

Undertale
Rimworld
The Long Dark
Superhot

I wouldn't bother with Civ VI. It's not bad, but I feel Civ V with the DLC is better. I think after a year or two the same will happen with Civ VI.

You can probably get the civ V gold edition with all the DLCs for super super cheap. I paid $7 for mine couple years ago. Way more value from that than just Civ VI alone. Although if you want to just build a city, this isn't really the game for that. I'd suggest Cities Skylines if you want a proper sim.

I have Cities: Skyline already. I'm looking forward to playing it.

I know I said I wouldn't buy anythng during the Steam Summer Sale.. And I didn't.
I bought something before it started:D
Got Command and Conquer 3 TW and the expansion KW (Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath). Played these to death when I was around 8 years old. Lost the discs years and years ago, but it's on sale, couldn't pass it up:)

I only have 3 games in my wishlist atm Doom, Fallout 4 & The Witcher 3, I can't see any of these 3 games going to be on sale for a decent price for me.

I think i'm going to get Doom 3 just have to work out which version i want, I think there's like 3 different versions.

I'm going to try and limit my game buying cause i have brought too many in previous Steam sales this year sales i'm going to try and complete some of the bundles that i haven't completed as of yet games like Hitman & Thief.

As well buying more items for Team Fortress 2 from the Marketplace.

Just remembered another game Wolfenstein The Old Blood, Yeah i know i can't help myself.

I absolutely loved Command and Conquer Generals :)

Don't know if it is a problematic area. But the sites online were you can buy keys.
Are they out of the question? I know that the gaming industry are against it, because of 1. key thefts. 2 they get less money for their product.
But if you pick a seller with 100.000 sales, i doubt it's a stolen key. Then there is only your moral left :D

Stay away from G2A.

CDkeys is very good.

Whats wrong with G2A? I have primary used G2A

Do some Googling dude. They allow people to sell stolen keys. There is no vetting etc. Then the key gets disabled and you lose your game. It's OK though, because they still get their cut AND the G2A shield fee.

So they are selling you a game and insurance for that game and no matter what they get paid any way.

BTW. A friend of mine, under my instruction, did not pay the G2A shield fee. Why? because he also paid a fee to use Paypal. So basically his game gets banned by Steam and so he opens a Paypal dispute and gets his money back.

G2A banned him from using the site again. So now I have to buy his games or what not.

So ebay for keys :) I have had a DLC revoked, and i got my money back.
I just startet using g2a, and i havn't had any problems.

But cdkeys seem to be a bit cheaper than G2A. Are there a G2A shield equivalent at cdkeys?
Or is it just the price and no protection?

CDkeys doesn't need shield protection crap because they are honest and a good working company. I've bought dozens of keys and never had an issue. Heck you ask for a refund and provided you didn't redeem the key already, no questions asked. You get your money.
