Why do you want to replace it btw?

Personally I don't like the look of the D14 at all. I've seen today's review for Dark Rock Pro 3 and it looks so much better, and performs very similarly. Have a look at the performance chart http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cases_cooling/bequiet_dark_rock_pro_3_review/5

The DR pro 3 is also more expensive than the d14. i dont have a window in my 550D, so im not too worried about looks. And according to the review, the D14 out performs the DR pro 3, even if its only by a little bit

Ah, I see. In UK they are the same price so that's why I said it.
Still unless you get really high temps right now I wouldn't bother. Or if you intend to see how far you can push the chip on air then go for it.

Search for them online, you can get it cheaper. I paid 69.99 for mine from ncix.ca they do come on sale and everyone price matches now so if you find it anywhere online cheaper, they will match it.
newegg.ca has them on right now for 79.99 and I wouldn't bother with the 3rd fan, all the tests have shown that adding the extra fan didn't improve performance. I have one in my system and love it, 4770K @4.4GHz and 1.22V.

in the winter my 2500k @ 4.5 1.4V is hitting 80 while folding, and in summer....well closer to 90+, so i have to clock it back to 4.0 to keep it below 80

Well i just hit the buy button.....it is on its way to replace the 212+

My typical temps. Stress testing average low 60's, 2 hours of gameplay (Tomb Raider) 32C, Photoshop work couple of hours 24C, system idle 20-21C with fans running around 700rpm. Ambient temp is probably 17C

something arrived in a big box today. i opened it and found this in it.

if i dont like it, i guess i could always melt it down, sell the AL for scrap and get double my money back?
