Are you running the second GPU as a PhysX card?

No idea why you're planning to buy one case for 'Rev 4', and already have the update of that planned for 'Rev 5'? Why not just buy one of the 'Rev5' cases now?

I think you need to post in new build advice really for proper advice.

This would be more suited for a rig gallery to be honest, and then make the project log when you come to build 'Rev5'.
Project logs are more suited for gradual updates during the build, whilst rig galleries are just for pictures of the final rig (which this is really, despite having future builds planned!)

Edit: Nevermind about the case! Didn't read it properly :)

Nice SSD mounting! Any particular reason you're already planning the next build while working on another?

Edit; Why do you need that much RAM anyway?

If you setup a company making custom PCs, I hope you'll make them neater than this when they're paying you ;)

For little/no money you can make such big improvements like sorting the cable management out, having matching fans, and mounting the SSD somewhere that it's not dangling in the air xD

Your triple monitor setup looks cool :)

what the heck mate, mount that ssd.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! only when i get the 2x256 840 pro's and im streaming on twitch so if you wanna talk about fun pc stuff come watch :)

yeah, all my systems that people pay me for will look much better than mine inside, unforunately i dont think customers will take lightly to thier ssd's hanging in mid air, and scine im doing some for friends for christmas. i need to go and get lots of cable ties from maplins :)

kick that rig once and you have a bluescreen.

nope i wiggle it and it lives.

SDD = NO MOVING PARTS!!!!!!!

just because it doesn't have any internal moving parts doesn't mean the connection on the port is perfect. if you want to start a custom pc company i would like to see a messy system like this in the portfolio. it doesn't matter how frequently you make alterations do it right each time.

fine then i will mount it properly!!!!

it's 4 screws, not a whole lot of work considering that you don't have any cable management really.
by kicking the rig i didn't mean the ssd itself crashing but the data/power connection getting interrupted for a split second which would crash your PC.

he speaks the truth. even the natural vibrations in the system could cause something to loosen. is it likely no. but it doesn't mean its not possible

It's more that our nerd-senses are tingling to help you and prevent you from being disappointed when your hardware dies.

They're not actually being mean to you... but they do make a very good point.

trust me the more you do in the polishing up part makes it easier to find something a problem if one arises. when i was a noob i stripped and rebuilt my pc cos it wouldnt output display. i had the cable in the wrong port. eventually i learned how my computer behaved and when it did something i knew what the cause was and i had everything organised neatly that i could give my boot drive a wiggle and it would work again (that drive has since crapped itself and been replaced) its just little nuggets that can save headache in the future by people that have screwed up in the past lol

If you have a look at the quality, detail and time spent on some of the builds posted on here you'll get to appreciate what everyone is going on about.

If you want to start a business, you need a smart portfolio to show your customers - that starts with your own rig.
