The 8800 Drivers

Okay, So I have driver version 97.44 installed.

And you can't use coolbits any more, can't check temps of anythings until you install Ntune..

I installed it and it still says you need Ntune.. Jeeze what happened to the sexy coolbits?

Anyone esle getting this prob?

Try a fresh install of the drivers after using drivercleaner to wipe the slate clean. You shouldn't be having these problems unless its something about the G80's that I don't know about.

You need coolbits to see overclocking and temp monitoring.

Riva does the job tho

You have an 8800 what have you done? Did it work straight off for you?

If i recall kemp had trouble with the Asus GTX but the XFX GTS worked out the box?

Well when I installed the drivers I had nothing in the control panel at all. This was when switching from 7900 > 8800

I just repaired windows

What drivers u on??? Try 97.02s... the oc utility should then appear...

Nvidia have apparently blocked this 'smell the burn' OC'ing utility hence you have to use the odler 97.02s

after adding it to the registry, you should find if you use the classic control panel, the overclocking and temperature panels are available again with the 8800 cards

hmm... not sure what's wrong there, it imported fine when i tried it with the 97.44 drivers *shrug*
