I just thought I would do a little PSA here on behalf of the OC3D staff....
To all new members, or current members that don't know about this feature. Every member of the OC3D forum has a reputation, it's scored by point system. If you look under your avatar, you will see where it says "Reputation:". This shows your current rep score.
By default when you join, you have 10 rep points. This system is designed to allow you to be rewarded for well thought out, informative posts. Or really any post you deemed helpful. To give rep points to a user for a good post, simply go to the post you would like to award, at the bottom of the users post profile, click the
icon. This will bring up a popup window where you can give a description of why you decided to rep that person for their post.
Reputation points are a great way to figure out who's who in the community and who you can rely on for good information. The higher the rep score the better. Also keep in mind that when OC3D staff members rep you, get a LOT of rep points, so keep those good posts up! One other thing to think about, when the time comes around for OC3D to look at adding more moderating staff, we heavily rely on rep points, post count, and join date.
Cheers mates! Make sure to rep all posts you think are deserving, it really is a good system! :wavey:
