As the title. When does that change to the minimum amount of cores for -bigadv units happen? Or has it already?
Seems those small base credit WUs have dried up. Getting 6900s with a 7164 point base credit (77k+ estimated
) but they takes too frikkin' long!
Might turn off -bigadv after this one completes and see what I get then...
Yes, Sadly them untra small wu's have dried up
.
The 16 core minimum will start on January 16th. All i get is 7*** wu's and I think they are all untra slow.
How long is to long time?
These 690x wu`s will give you higher ppd and more points.
I have one i7-970 dedicated to f@h.A 6904 takes me 4 days at 59min TPF,6903 has a TPF at 42.5min and 6901 at 19min TPF.
That lovely 3930k @ 4.4ghz should be significantly faster than my i7-970 @ 4.2ghz.
Try f@h calc
http://linuxforge.net/bonuscalc2.php
Got a 6900 unit that's 8% complete with an ETA of 1.25 days, just under 20mins TPF and an estimated credit of 76648
Dropped my 3930k back down to 4.2ghz now, wasn't 100% stable. Forgot to change the sig. Still a stonking CPU mind.
The little units were handy as I could let a few complete, then stop for a couple of hours to get some gaming in without feeling guilty
Surpriced that an 3930k isnt any better
at folding.
Doing some fah is the most important, ppd is for fun
