So guys some of you may know that my system has been down since christmas and it has got to tue point i am sick of using my laptop (msi gt72 amazing laptop) for work. My problem is i dont have a way to test what part of my system is dead because realistically who has a spare 3930k and rampage 4 extreme lying about in a box on the off chance they is a fault with one of the two. My ram is good and the power supply is good. So i dont want to waste thise two parts so i was thinking of getting a z97 board with a 4790 to keep ke going for about 400 quid. Do you guys have any recommendations so i cant get operational again.
