I saw some screenshots of this game when doing the article on the R600 GPU's as they were included in all of the press marketing stuff from ATI.

Looking at their comparison between hl1, hl2 & TF2 - hl2 looked so much more realistic.

Is it just me or does it look cartoony and more like a cell-shaded game (like jetset radio etc) seems a step backwards in terms of realism tbh.

Used too play the original with a mate. Its not supposed too be realistic, its plain good fun. They'd better carry over the best elements of the old game tbh.

I might see if I can find the ATI advertising thing from the R600 stuff. I think I was just put off because it was included in the 'next generation' directx10 hype article when really it looks quite un-realistic.

it reminds me of the incredibles. im acutally very glad they did it this way. TF has always been a goofy game esp @ a LAN back in the day.
