According to Valve, if you ordered The Orange Box (a package containing HL2, HL2 eps1+2, portal, and TF2) you can play the TF2 beta today.

Starting Monday, September 17, those who pre-purchase The Orange Box via Steam can download and activate the beta release of Team Fortress 2 (TF2). This year's most anticipated online action game, TF2 delivers new game types, a signature art style powered by Valve's next generation animation technology, persistent player statistics, and more.

Unfortunatly, it hasn't been unlocked on steam yet, it'll probabbly end up being unlocked this evening i think. Has anyone pre-ordered this yet, i think it'll be fun to have some good old team fortress games. might be fun to go raid a server and have a mess around.

No, none of them are out until 10th of October, but if you pre order it on steam you save a mind blowing $5 (yes dollars) and get top play the beta of Tf2.

Been playing the beta today, it's absolutley brilliant, you get loads of those funny gaming moments in it, its just so brilliant.

Wish i could say the same...

Theres seems to be an issue with me where it max's out core 1 and makes everything run at like 1fps, i cant get it to change either.. looks like im waiting for a fix
