Heya guys!
So I felt that there are probably a fair few people out here with tats and that they might want to share them with us.
Here you can post about your ideas and discuss them. You can also post pictures of your ink and tell your fellow OC3Ders why you got it. You may also post how much it cost, how long it took and where you had it done (but no advertising). If you passed out, we want to know!
Simple 'rules':
1. If you have one, don't just describe it. Take a pic!
2. Don't post tattoos that are placed on inappropriate body parts.
3. If you have a tattoo that contains 18+ content (you're smart enough to decide that for yourself), don't hotlink it. Instead, put a warning that it is NSFW and then post the direct link to the image.
I'll start off:
Got this one last Tuesday and it was my first. Got plans for more, but this will have to do for now. It's on my lower-left leg and it's a white lotus, covered in black ink. It took 4 hours and cost me a total of €300,- (Around 250 quid), not bad at all. Got it done at Alpha Ink in the Netherlands.
The reason I got it is quite simple. Without making things seem more dramatic than they are I've had times in my life where I just didn't feel like doing anything. I had no real hobbies, not really any friends, no job and because of that I didn't do too well in school either. But then I figured that if I had nothing to lose anyway, I'd just do all the shit I've ever dreamed of. I joined an ice hockey club, made some new friends, got myself a job to afford the things that I wanted to do and life turned around.
I may not be a doctor or a lawyer later, may not make as much money, but I don't care. My future plans are to be, and stay happy and that's all that matters!
So why this? Simply put; I liked that idea that under that black ink, there's still a beautiful flower. More in-depth; It's an album art by a band called Eyes Set To Kill. When their record company told them to go f themselves they set up their own little record label under which they put out this album. They spent a lot of their money on it, and it wasn't their best album, but making music is what made them feel good so it was all okay. They later got signed at a new record label! Kind of relates to my story, huh?
Now, pictures!
So that's it!
Can't wait to see some of the ink of my fellow OC3D members!
